Job Responsibilities

Maintain Change Management procedures according to corporate guidelines

Ensure corporate processes and procedures are implemented according to ITIL guidelines

Build and configure servers and storage according to standards in a timely manner

Ensure assigned tasks are evaluated, planned and implemented in a timely manner

Install and configure hardware and software — apply o/s patches, updates and configuration changes

Maintain computing environment integrity, availability, reliability and effectiveness to a distributed environment of major property locations and remote sites by monitoring, analyzing and making appropriate adjustments

With the assistance of other team members, implement and integrate new technologies into existing environment based on Architectural designs and guidelines

Monitor and action server and storage environment incident tickets

Perform, configure and validate system backups

On-call rotation and able to travel at short notice

Ensure capacity and availability within areas of concentration

Assist in the development and implementation of cost effective IT services that meets availability requirements

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Required Skill(s): Microsoft Server OS, VMware ESX, NetBackup, Nimble, NetApp Storage, ITIL, Veeam

Preferably specialized in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.

Has strong knowledge of the latest Microsoft server operating systems, VMware ESX, system architecture and server hardware configurations

Has strong knowledge of systems backup software and SAN architecture such as NetBackup, Nimble and NetApp Storage

Good understanding of lTlL, networking and Exchange is a plus

Good time management skills and able to work in a matrix team environment

Good customer service and management skills when working with clients and internal customers

Demonstrate organizational skills, as well as strong written, oral and presentation communication abilities in order to work with all levels of staff
