Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman. Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities. Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site. Lays out, fits, and welds fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, furnace shells, and building and bridge parts. Installs structural parts, components, and assemblies in support of all construction and maintenance activities. Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties and activities as directed. Typically requires 3-5 years of related experience.
Open willingness to travel as required and work rotations away from base camp.
Must be fluent in English
Must possess passport with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages (front and back) remaining
Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
Must be able to pass a test for structural welding
