MWR Maintenance Technician
Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from supervisor . Services and repairs all appliances and equipment to ensure safe operations. Must be able to troubleshooting, adjustment, function test, inspect, install, and repair all MWR equipment. Safely load and unload equipment onto vehicles for transport to repair shop as needed. Completes necessary paperwork, including work orders, parts requisitions and inspection reports. Maintain appropriate inventory of spare parts and supplies as directed by management. Ensures compliance with all work area safety requirements. Communicates effectively with customers and team members.
Performs additional duties including Housekeeping as assigned.
Requires discretion and independence. Highly knowledgeable in appliance/ equipment functionality and problem diagnostics. General knowledge of electrical systems, electronic controls, mechanical drives (belts, gears, servo) and related functional elements. Ability to accurately read, interpret and comprehend work instructions, service manuals and other documentation. Ability to understand and apply operational and functional details from equipment schematics and diagrams. Ability to skillfully utilize diagnostic equipment such as volt/ohm meters and related devices. Ability to complete required written or electronic documentation. Physically able to squat, stand, bend, climb, lie on back, lift and pull, reach up and out and related actions as needed to perform essential job functions.
Able to lift 50-70lbs.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Must be fluent in English.
Minimum (3) years related experience required.
High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
Tech school or manufacturer’s training certification in applicable areas (preferred).
Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
