Maintenance Mechanic Foreman / Military Tactical Vehicle
The Maintenance Mechanic Foreman is responsible for supervising and directing the activities of the Field Maintenance Service (FMS). The position consists of full control over the Field Maintenance Mechanics and their work activities.
Assists the General Foreman by providing input to identify key success factors for Field Maintenance Operation. Provides leadership to cause the creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute the requirements of Field Maintenance Service.
Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees. Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
Requisitions and/or purchases supplies, materials, and tools. Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained. Maintains the short range look ahead plans and discusses all deviations with the General Foreman.
Candidate must be able to troubleshoot electrical 12 and 24 volt systems, MVAC and drivability problems, candidate must possess knowledge in use of Diagnostics Tools especially MSD device.
Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site. Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Promotes teamwork and actively participates in quality improvement process. Promotes safety awareness and complies with all applicable safety procedures and regulations, performs other duties and activities as directed.
Must be fluent in English
Must have Five to Seven (5 to 7) years’ of experience working on U.S. military tactical vehicles.
Must have EAP609 MVAC Certification.
Must possess knowledge of ability to read and understand schematics, and technical drawings.
Must possess a valid passport with at least 15 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining.
Must possess a home country valid driver’s license.
Preferred qualifications and skill:
Candidates with prior Military and or LOGCAP experience in working with military equipment and environment.
Candidates with MRAP-U certification.
Candidates with 40hrs HAZWOPER – OSHA certification.
Candidates with technician certification or work experience with RTCH’s (KALMAR RT-240).
Candidates with knowledge of US military regulations and OEM requirements, including OSHA, ANSI regulations standards.
