Logistics Coordinator, MCT Air Operations
Provide movement control support for the surface & Air movement of cargo and personnel through the U.S. Military Transportation System. Responsible for receiving, validating, and processing, all Transportation Movement Requests (TMR), Joint Movement Requests (JMRs) & Air Movement Requests (AMRs) for the personnel and equipment transiting, originating, terminating, and assigned MCT Area of responsibility.
Candidate must possess working knowledge of Movement Automation Query Systems such as GTN, GDSS, GATES, ITV, etc. Able to communicate effectively with military personnel, understand military flight information and local policies. Must understand DOD movements terminology and be able to troubleshoot problems. Position responsibilities also encompass administrative duties in support of the entire Airfield Terminal Operations. Ability to read and understand Air Load Plans. Able to work in a high stress atmosphere and make passenger related decisions. Able to make decision on priority list based on outlined instructions. Must perform other job related tasks as duties and mission dictates.
Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree and 1-3 years of experience
Prefer 88N or previous MCT experience
Must have strong computer skills to include Outlook, Excel, Access and Power Point
2T2 (AF AFSC) or 88N (Army MOS) plus and HAZ cargo cert a plus
Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
Must be fluent in English
Must possess a passport book (not passport card) with at least 15 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank front/back visa stamp pages remaining
Must possess driver’s license with at least 7 months of remaining validity
