Gas Plant Processing Foreman
Oversees work of employees responsible for control equipment, such as compressors, evaporators, heat exchangers, and refrigeration equipment to process gas for varies uses. Adjust temperature, pressure, vacuum, level, flow rate, or transfer of gas, according to test results and knowledge of process and equipment. Calculates gas rations, using testing apparatus, to detect deviations from specifications. Cleans and repairs equipment, using hand tools. Controls fractioning columns, compressors, purifying towers, heat exchangers, and related equipment, to extract nitrogen and oxygen from air. Controls operation of compressors, scrubbers, evaporators, and refrigeration equipment to liquefy, compress, or re-gasify natural gas. Observes pressure, temperature, level, and flow gauges to ensure standard operation. Reads log sheet to ascertain demand and disposition of product or to detect equipment malfunctions. Records gauge readings and test results. Signals or directs workers tending auxiliary equipment. Tests oxygen for purity and moisture content at various stages of process, using burette and moisture meter. Responsible for lead/supervisory duties within the group, usually oversees 3 or more Gas Plant Operators and/or Associate Operators. Other duties as deemed necessary to meet the objectives of the department
Must be fluent in English
Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 15 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
