Logistics Warehouseman / Ammo Supply
Receives, checks in, and issues materials in support of conventional and foreign ammunition activities. Responsible for warehouse layout planning, establishment of document files, preparation of required documents and reports. Maintains inventories and completes records. Ensures proper planning, receipt, storage, and issue of all ammunition types. Will work in completing logistics activities in the area of ammunition support services by performing a broad array of assignments relating to the procurement of receipts, inventory/accountability, initial issues, turn-ins, ammunition residue storage, inspections, surveillances, , property management,, technical documentation and other duties as assigned.
Assist with operating the Standard Ammunition and Accounting System-Modernized (SAAS-MOD) computer hardware, software and utilizes manual records to perform stock control and accounting procedures for ammunition, explosives, and associated explosive components.
Adheres to production standards and complies with applicable government ammunition regulations. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience.
Must have or be able to obtain a NAC-I
Must be able to lift between 50 lbs. or more with or without accommodation.
Forklift Certification preferred
