Provide leadership by directing a variety of support to programs involved with Asset Management. Will be responsible for the overall performance of the asset management program. Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and/or transport our products, as our highest priority. Interface daily with operations and maintenance department personnel to review work orders for maintenance services. Review and provide input on definition, accuracy and priority. Identify, analyze and review equipment maintenance problems with maintenance supervisors and managers. Lead the Root Cause Analysis process in site. Implement Condition monitoring practices in site using CBM techniques, such as Oil analysis, vibrations measurement, and thermography among others. Provide training of personnel in maintenance management. Provide technical guidance with Maximo modules and applications. Advise on the use and disposition of stock items, support in Min Max and safety stock levels, surplus items, and rental equipment. Promote Asset Management standardization.
Support the Project Manager with equipment life cycle cost replacement decisions. Review the Preventive maintenance strategy on an annual basis and make recommendations regarding interval increases, and optimization of labor and materials. Work with Procurement and Inventory team to identify, estimate the accurate materials or spare parts are requested for the maintenance plan. Look for improvements, minimizing inefficiencies and identifying savings opportunities. Maintain control of the work order file in Maximo and developing the craft backlog. Implement, track and control the contract, project or best practices maintenance performance indicators. Evaluate non-resident contractor performance, including quality & safety performance. Assist engineers with plant projects, technical details, & specifications. Make recommendations on projects such as timeline, labor requirements, work scope, & material.
Follow the Management of Change Process to document & implement continuous improvement recommendations.
Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical, electrical, systems .
Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in repair, installation, troubleshooting and upkeep of mechanical equipment/facilities.
Working knowledge of the routine maintenance process, regulations and policies and contracts with the DoD.
High proficiency in Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and proficient knowledge of MAXIMO.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team.
Physical requirements – Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending, stooping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including the use of a respirator. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
Knowledge or being familiarized with Waste water treatment plant, water treatment plants, Power Gen, HVAC, and Galley equipment.
Additional Desired Qualifications: Certified Project Management Professional, Certified Maintenance and Reliability professional.
