KBR Australia has been engaged in working with Defence in Australia for over 20 years and has developed core competencies in systems engineering, systems and enterprise architecture, project management and integrated logistics support, to provide technical and management assistance to a wide range of defence projects.
We are seeking an experienced senior project manager to lead the development and acquisition activities of a large and complex project team. The project is responsible for delivering a wide and varied range of products to support broad capability outcomes.
This position will be pivotal within the project, providing a range of program management outcomes, including team leadership, coordination and management support.
relationship management with the Project Sponsor and key stakeholders;
strategy development and program optimisation for multiple acquisitions;
ensuring consistency of delivery strategies across the full Capability Life Cycle (CLC);
preparation and maintenance of core project documents to support key milestones and decision making;
change, risk and resource management across the program; and
reporting on, and representation of the program to senior management.
Candidates must hold (or have held) a current AGSVA security clearance;
excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
demonstrated experience in acquisition strategy development and optimization;
a commitment to best practice resource and business management; and
experience as a project manager within the Defence environment will be highly regarded
