Position Title: Associate Project Leader – Construction

The Associate Project Leader – Construction assists Project Leaders and Project Managers in carrying out all project activities. The incumbent assumes responsibility for coordinating certain portions of the administration of the project such as cost control, document control, contract changes, shop drawings, etc, and may be responsible for certain subcontractors or parts of a large project. He/She can perform some basic project management functions under minimal supervision and may be capable of running a project up to $3 million.

This position is located at a client site in Richmond, VA. No relocation or per diem will be offered.

Position Description/Job Responsibilities

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities include project setup and subcontracting strategy, shop drawing review and processing, contract changes, engineer daily relations, subcontractor relations, and all required Owner and in-house reporting.

Responsible for leading project team meetings, with contract and client personnel

Requirements/Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

5

years’ experience in construction

Good written and verbal communication skills

Must have the ability to work in a team environment

Criminal Background Check required
