Position Description

KBR is seeking a Technical Professional Leader - Process.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Responsible for study, design, and specification and services related to pulp fiberlines such as:


Batch and Continuous Digesters


Brown Stock Screening and Washing


Recausticizing and Lime Kiln


Liquor Evaporation and Storage


Bleaching Chemical Preparation and Storage


Oxygen Delignification


ECF Bleaching

Responsible for heat and material balance, the development of process flow diagrams, piping and instrument diagrams, system design parameters, and design or rating of equipment. May also be responsible for development of process simulators and advanced controls/process optimization



• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Pulp and Paper or Mechanical Engineering. Ability to lead a process engineering team for larger projects or multiple small projects. Excellent communication and organizational skills.15

years process engineering experience on pulp and paper, chemical, or power project. PE preferred.
