Position Title: Chief Technical Advisor – Mechanical

Position Description

KBR is seeking a Chief Technical Advisor.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Manage and grow piping group resources to meet project needs and long term sustainability of the group and support of the Raleigh office

·

Assign resources to successfully support local project work

·

Manage and grow department personnel for benefit to both the employee and KBR

·

Assure quality of all piping group deliverables

·

Seal deliverables for construction

·

Provide resource forecasting reports and weekly chargeability/utilization

·

Develop work hour estimates and scope of work for new opportunities

Qualifications:

Requirements

BS in mechanical or equal

Have required PE licenses and the ability to obtain others that might be required

Possess a detailed working knowledge of piping codes that govern chemical, pulp and paper and other heavy industrial work performed in the Raleigh office

Strong people management skills and ability to build and manage effective teams

Strong working knowledge of piping stress analysis
