Our Government Services division is seeking a Engineering Change Officer with a strong maritime background, to join our project team in providing platform engineering support to the RAN Landing Helicopter Dock ships. The successful candidate will have experience in the Defence environment with particular expertise in the sustainment of major naval surface vessels. The successful applicant will be based at Garden Island in Sydney.

Responsibilities

Support the Engineering Manager in LHD Engineering Change activities

Manage various engineering projects in accordance with appropriate regulations and processes through the engineering lifecycle

Chair System Reviews for development of engineering projects

Drive the team to meet schedule, quality, financial and stakeholder requirements.

Attend Configuration Change Boards as required

Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop solutions and requirements

Requirements

Degree in Engineering

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering change management

Previous experience in Defence or Maritime environment

An existing or previously held Australian Government Security Clearance

Applicants must be Australian Citizens in order to obtain a clearance
