Position Title: Maintenance Specialist, Instrument & Electrical Systems Senior
Job Assignment Location: Maysville, KY
Rate of Pay: Up to $33.50
Work Schedule: 5/8s
Duration: Long Term
We are currently seeking Electrical or Instrumentation Maintenance Journeyman.
Successful candidates will work in a high-performance work team to help to build and sustain a
culture of Electrical and/or Instrumentation reliability at the Maysville Mill. Successful
candidates must have the ability to comprehend large amounts of new information in a short
time frame and make timely decisions in a fast-paced complex environment and quality
standards; a strong focus on preventive electrical and instrumentation maintenance; and
being an integral part of improving reliability.
At least 18 years of age and a high school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
A degree or certification in Industrial Electrical, MV (medium voltage) and/or
Instrumentation Studies; or at least 3 years of work experience in Electrical and/or Instrumentation systems.
Working knowledge and troubleshooting of DCS, PLC control logic, drives and power distribution.
Skilled at troubleshooting, effective communications and good interpersonal skills
Ability to climb ladders, walk distances, work at heights on platforms, work in tight/close spaces.
Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, outages, 12 hours shifts (day & night), and holidays as needed.
Ability to work around moving process equipment.
Ability to operate machinery or industrial equipment and systems.
Ability to comply with all safety requirements such as wearing safety equipment
including ear plugs, hard hats, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and electrical safety
• Desire to develop electrical and/or instrumentation maintenance skills.
What Set's you Ahead:
• Working experience in process Industrial Electrical and/or Instrumentation maintenance
is a plus.
Honeywell Controls — DCS / Honeywell TDC —3000
Prior Papermill experience
Sufficient familiarity with schematic and electrical, diagrams / illustrations
Candidates who are offered a position, will be required to:
I. Successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and submit to random drug testing
II. Successfully complete a pre-employment health assessment;
III. Successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
