Safety Manager

– Kirtland AFB, New Mexico

This position is contingent upon contract award

Essential Responsibilities:

Lead the development of work processes, tools, and knowledge resources that support the safety mission

Lead the establishment of safety guidelines and processes used for technical requirements, safety control, documentation

Maintain documentation supporting facility design

Lead key efforts to include code compliance and safety standards

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and formal education in Safety Program Processes (Licensed Safety Professional certification preferred).

Shall have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Safety Manager developing, performing, managing, and supervising safety programs and operations of similar size and complexity.

Currently holds a SECRET security clearance.

Licenses/Certifications: Safety Professional certification preferred
