Material Control Supervisor

– Kirtland AFB, New Mexico

This position is contingent upon contract award

Essential Responsibilities:

Conducts research, determines sources of supply, and complete requisitions for material requests and service requests in support of requirements.

Responsible for acquiring materials for the performance of operations utilizing IWIMS/TRIRIGA™ or a 377 MSG/CE approved alternate system.

Performs 100 percent physical count of the operating stock inventory annually.

Manages all storage functions and maintains a material deficiency reporting system.

Maintains and operates a central hazardous material storage and issue point.

Oversees the Material Control Requirements Office:

Processes customer purchase requests, creates purchase orders, performs inventory counts, conducts required research for discrepancies and processes inventory adjustments

Maintains accountability over Operating Stock/Store, Residue and Special Level storage stock.

Manage shop equipment and HAZMAT.

Submits Materials Control reports.

Generate report detailing total dollar value of material on hand, material line items on hand, material Operating Stock availability rate, value of material in residue, special level, and total dollar value of material turned-in to the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO).

Other Responsibilities:

Safety: Enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.

As required participates on safety committees and teams.

Quality: Consistently provide services that meet customer expectations. Accordingly, each employee must conform to the KBR Quality Policy and carry out job activities in compliance with applicable KBR Quality System documents and customer contracts.



Minimum Requirements:

The Material Control Supervisor must have a minimum of a high school diploma.

Experience with Microsoft Office suite, and material control management software.

Working knowledge of material control and inventory requirements and processes.

Minimum of 3 year of experience in material control processes and procedures and 2 years as a supervisor.

Currently possess or be eligible to obtain a SECRET security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior USAF experience and

technical training

Excellent communication skills
