UAS retail and wholesale supply support Logistics Analyst Position Description. The retail and wholesale supply support Logistics Analyst will be assigned to the Tactical UAS Logistics staff of the UAS Project Office. As a member of the Supply Support staff, the retail and wholesale supply support logistics analyst supports the PM T-UAS Product Support Manager and Logistics Sustainment Chief by serving as the resident staff expert and Integrated Product Team (IPT) coordinator for all T-UAS retail and wholesale supply support sustainment logistics planning, documentation development, staffing/coordination, execution, and implementation oversight/monitoring activities. Duties. a. Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to all Product Office logistics Leads for Army Aviation related retail and wholesale supply support, maintenance procedures, practices and matters, including demonstrating knowledge of DoD, DA, AMC, and AMCOM policies and guidance. b. Establish, manage, and execute sustainment logistics Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) that includes PM, prime contractor, AMCOM, AMC, HQDA, Depot representative, and other participants as necessary. c. Monitors and advises the Project Manager on all aspects of the retail and wholesale supply support UAS supply chain, to include maintenance turnaround and repair part transit times, work in process inventory management, inventory stockade levels, operational capacity management and quality assurance. Responsible for demand model calculation, order fulfillment, warehouse distribution and managing supplier relationships. d. Manage, schedule, execute, and update related documents as necessary, including all AR 700 series logistics regulations per DoD, Army, and AMCOM guidance. This includes proper usage of applicable Operator’s manuals, technical manuals, AR 710-2-1, DA Pam 710-2-1, DA Pam 738-751, DA Pam 750-8, TM 1-1500-328-23, TM 1-1500-341-01, AR 750-1, AR 750-6, and AR 750-10. e. Monitor and oversee performance contract to determine, establish, and execute wholesale sustainment requirements. f. Ability to understand earned value management and program funding execution. Balance program budget allocation to field demand requirement to determine the appropriate sustainment action. g. Provide program data points and concerns with Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) interface to the contractor’s enterprise resource planning system. Working with the prime contractor to prepare asset inventory and internal warehouse processing to prepare for the system transition. h. Initiate supply chain processes recommendations to lean the current sustainment model. Understand industry best practice and provide guidance to the contractor and the program office. i. Understand and familiar with the Federal Acquisition Rule clauses on the sustainment contract. j. Develop and maintain Smart Charts and information briefings as requested. k. Support development and integration of UAS PMO retail and wholesale supply Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) processes, procedures, and initiatives. l. Assist UAS Product Teams with monitoring and executing management oversight of contractor retail and wholesale Supply Chain Management (SCM), integration, utilization and work loading, and major item management processes, including performance metrics development, data collection processes implementation, documentation, monitoring, analysis, process management, and performance metric and compliance reporting. m. Supports/participates in conferences, meetings, and assistance/inspection teams as required.
High School Diploma, minimum of 10 years experience with Supply Support/Supply Chain Management is required. Active Secret Clearance is required.
