Reporting directly to the President of the Technology business, this position is responsible for all HR issues in this $400 million revenue business, which operates globally with 500 employees.

The HR director works with the president and his leadership team to develop and fulfill short and long range HR objectives that are aligned with both the business and KBR HR strategies. This position has matrix reporting to the Corporate EVP of Human Resources. It is part of the Company’s HR Leadership Team that is responsible for the development, implementation and administration of human resources programs, policies, processes and procedures designed to attract, retain and reward employees globally in alignment with overall business strategy. This position has responsibility for HR functions in the Technology centers in the US, India, China, Finland, and Germany and it works with the HR teams that support the Technology groups located in the UAE, UK, Asia Pacific, and Russia.

Working with the Technology leadership team on all aspects of organizational development, particularly of the vertical business segment teams and the regional sales teams

Working with Executive Compensation and the Technology leadership on administration

of short-term and long-term incentive plans for business senior management

Leading the execution of Technology’s high-potential employee development program to ensure the talent level of the organization is continually upgraded and widespread through all areas of the business

Deep understanding and practical experience with all aspects of HR responsibilities in the employee life cycle

Oversight for all global recruiting for the Technology business, from executive to new graduate levels, including sourcing candidates, interview scheduling, and offer negotiations, particularly in sales and marketing areas

Experience working with global recruiting agencies and ensuring companies deliver the best candidates under optimum commercial arrangements

Familiarity with European and other non-USA labor laws and non-US employee agreements

Leads HR execution teams in Houston, Beijing and Delhi Technology offices

Payroll and Benefits support including annual salary reviews and open enrollment

Lead and support talent development initiatives

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree and 15 years Human Resources experience required, preferably in the Hydrocarbons industry; MBA preferred

Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a minimum 5 years of experience leading a Human Resources team

Minimum 10 years of recruiting experience, domestic and international

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills including PowerPoint and Excel capability

US immigration experience preferred

Must be willing and available for domestic and international travel, approximately 20% as needed
