Project Information

ADNOC is undertaking a project for the development of the Hail and Ghasha offshore sour gas fields in order to minimise the natural gas shortage in Abu Dhabi.

The project to develop the Hail and Ghasha fields has been designated as the Hail & Ghasha Development (HGD) Project.

The new HGD facilities will be designed to process 1,000 MMscfd of sour feed gas and associated condensate and oil.

The sulphur management facilities will be designed to accommodate approximately 10,000 TPD of sulphur.

KBR are the PMC for this project.

We are now looking to fill key positions on this project.

Job Description

KBR is looking for a Process Safety Specialist to become a key member of our PMC team in Abu Dhabi.

Role Responsibilities

Process Safety Specialist, reporting into Engineering Manager

Provide guidance to FEED contractor during deliverable kick-offs

Review and comment on all FEED contractor deliverables

Track and manage FEED contractor discipline progress

Manage interfaces with other discipline leads

Skills and Experience

PMC experience

FEED for offshore projects

Sour gas project experience

ADNOC group of companies experience

Mega project experience in excess of $500m

Middle East experience is preferred

Recent experience with KBR would be advantageous


Degree educated

Chartered Chemical Engineer is an advantage
