Under broad direction, the Associate Project Manager - Engineering is responsible for all phases of planning and execution of site minor projects (less than $500,000), administrative supervision of all KBR and contract site engineering personnel at the client site, and coordination of work between the home office and the client site.

This position is located at a client site in Dayton, OH. No Per Diem will be offered.


Plans, organizes, coordinates and controls projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company.

Has responsibility for day to day contact and communication with the client and focuses on providing client satisfaction.

Possesses knowledge of the respective industry. Supervises personnel assigned to the project through subordinate leaders.

May also serve as the proposal manager of medium-sized projects.

May also serve as a discipline lead.

Must be able to multi-task, maintain confidentiality, and interface with clients, construction contractors and management


Must be able to maintain positive relationship through daily communication with the client


Ability to communicate written and verbally to client, team and home office management


Ability to work with minimal supervision


Excellent verbal and written communication, listening and interpersonal skills


Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including word processing, spreadsheets and applications


This position is located on a working plant site.


Candidate must be able to:


Stand or sit for periods of up to 4 hours.


Climb stairs (typically no more than 3-4 flights), climb fixed ladders on occasion to access roof areas, mezzanines, etc.


Walk outside occasionally to access process areas.

Distances can be up to 200 meters.
