DESIGNER - ELECTRICAL
Under direct supervision, independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. With additional experience within electrical design, assists in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering.

Preferred Undergraduate degree related to Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Science
years of applicable experience
Must be able to work within a client operating plant
Strong computer skills required
AutoCAD and Microstation skills preferred
Strong communication skills are required along with ability to work in a cohesive team
This position is located on a working plant site.
Candidate must be able to:
Stand or sit for periods of up to 4 hours.
Climb stairs (typically no more than 3-4 flights), climb fixed ladders on occasion to access roof areas, mezzanines, etc.
Walk outside occasionally to access process areas.
Distances can be up to 200 meters.
