Kellogg Brown and Root Pty Ltd’s Government Services business in the Asia Pacific, KBRwyle, delivers a range of support services and related products to government, military and commercial organisations. We focus on services and support for the delivery of complex projects for Defence equipment, capabilities and training solutions, and operational support for classified mission planning.
KBRwyle Modelling, Simulation & Training Solutions (MST) delivers solutions to clients who are introducing complex new enterprise software systems, building new infrastructure assets, or investing in new capability platforms. We help clients realise the business benefits of organisational change with modern blends of training and workforce enablement in live, virtual and constructive environments. We have been working with Defence, government and corporate clients for over 20 years and have a reputation for innovation in modelling, simulation and training. Core business is in systems training (ERP), training management, performance support and virtual training environments/devices.
We are seeking a results orientated and dedicated team member, with excellent leadership abilities and extensive experience in customer relationship to fill this critical, high impact and highly visible role. Working directly with the General Manager, and part of the
leadership team, you will lead sales and business development within the KBRwyle
Modelling, Simulation & Training business unit.
Drive business development strategy and growth plans on behalf of the GM MST
Build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders internally and externally
Conduct pre-sales activity prior to RFI/RFT release
Lead the MST team in sales and marketing activity on behalf of GM MST
Lead customer engagement across the team on behalf of GM MST and senior KBR management
Champion a results oriented culture through business development/pursuits
Extensive previous & successful experience, at least three years in solution sales (services) within the Defence and government market
Thorough understanding of the Defence market, DWP 16 and IIP
Proven ability to lead bids and secure Defence contracts at a senior BD level
Proven ability to pursue multiple capture campaigns concurrently at senior BD level
Extensive & relevant network across Defence and Federal government
Results oriented and proven ability to drive sustained business growth through sales in the Defence/government markets
Have an Australian Government security clearance
Well-developed leadership skills and experience
A high standard of personal presentation and appearance
Understanding of Defence training programs and processes
Understanding of methods such as SADL and ADDIE
Understanding of and experience with contemporary training methods and technologies (VR/AR)
Reputation as a thought leader, demonstrated by published articles, board memberships and conference presentations
A qualification in marketing and sales
Understanding of the AUSDEFCON contracting mechanism
