Communication, Command and Control, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) System Administrator (Contingency Hire)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Communication, Command and Control, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) System Administrator shall manage, operate, maintain, and repair C4I and automated information systems and services.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all circuits and equipment in accordance with (IAW) applicable publication, directives, Technical Orders (TO), Operating Instructions (OI), and service manuals.
Perform operational checks to verify all equipment is serviceable and able to support mission requirements as directed by the Government.
Document all maintenance actions in the Data Management System and shall meet or exceed published Equipment Reliability (ER) rates.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / ABILITIES :
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in such fields of study as Computer Science, or a similar field of study is required. Or Fifteen (15) years’ directly related an industry experience is deemed equivalent.
CERTIFICATIONS: DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician Level 2 baseline and computing/networking environment certification to match assigned duties; trusted Agent for JWICS; and Trusted Agent for SIPR.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a DoD IT Systems Administrator; minimum five (5) years’ experience with NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS for DoD systems; shall be able to install, upgrade, configure and maintain hardware/software i.e. NetApp, servers, desktops, and DoD standard o/s; shall be able to update configuration management using automated systems i.e. SCCM or system call out by 24 th
AF, (NOTAMs/patches) i.e. ACT and ACAS; shall be able to maintain operational, configuration, and other standard operating procedures (SOP); shall be able to manage Windows user accounts; shall have general knowledge of hardening and configuration support of systems in compliance security standards; shall have Remedy experience, to include tracking/reporting; shall assist end users with account issues, via Active Directory; and shall have experience with NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS for Air Force systems.
ABILITIES: The candidate must be a self-starter capable of working in a fast paced multi-discipline team environment with the ability to manage competing priorities to achieve team goals.
Proven management skills to include effective planning, organizing, directing and controlling with strong decision making capabilities. Excellent analytical skills – data driven, fact based, root cause focused. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to lead a team to consensus.
Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and listening.
Ability to interact with staff at all levels from craft persons to senior executives.
Knowledge base to successfully diagnosis issues that cover multiple areas of interaction
Security Clearance: TOP SECRET/SCI

Fluent in English language
Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 4 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
