HVAC General Foreman
Provides leadership to cause the creation of processes required to fully execute the requirements of services and is responsible for the execution of HVAC mechanical services, quality, and cost. Directs the activities of HVAC mechanics. Installs, services, and repairs environmental-control and other commercial establishments, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, pipe fitting and structural layout. Mounts compressors and condensers units on platform or floor, uses hand tools, and follows blueprints or engineering specifications. Fabricates, assembles and installs duct work and chassis parts using portable metalworking tools and welding equipment. Connects motors, compressors, temperature controls, humidity controls and circulating ventilation fans to control panels and connects control panels to power source. May install, repair and service air conditioners, ranging from two to twenty-five tons cooling capacity in warehouses and small factory buildings. Skills typically acquired by competition of an Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. Must hold a valid Universal EPA approved section 608 certification as required by 40 CFR part 82 subpart F. This position requires strong computer skills to include but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and Power Point. Job role will include the creation and implantation of an HVAC-R training course; must have strong teaching abilities, In-depth knowledge of the HVAC-R Work Instructions, SOP, CMSOW and SOW are required. EPA Section 608 Exam.
Required Education and Licenses
High School Diploma
HVAC-R Contractor /Technician License
Universal EPA Certification
Must be fluent in English
Must have a valid passport
Must have a valid driver’s license
