General Site Manager


Under general direction, responsible for the daily operations of an individual project in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. Capable of running an entire project of $7 to $15 million or bid packages on a larger project. Supervises and directs the daily efforts of the technical and administrative sides of a project. Responsibilities include project setup and subcontracting strategy, shop drawing review and processing, contract changes, owner/architect/engineer daily relations, subcontractor relations, and all required owner and in-house reporting. Typical requirements include an undergraduate degree in appropriate discipline and 8-12 years of experience.


Plans, organizes, coordinates, and controls projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. Has responsibility for day to day contact and communication with the client and focuses on providing client satisfaction. Possesses knowledge of the respective industry. Supervises personnel assigned to the project through subordinate leaders.

Responsible for maintaining quality standard of products and the procedures and materials that go into work scope. Aligns quality management function with the performance needs of product lines.

Manages and leads Health Safety and Environment initiatives and personnel. Coordinates the delivery of HSE products and services to operations and shared services personnel, in support of business acquisition and execution. Interfaces and negotiates with regulatory bodies, clients and subcontractors. Responsible for executing the processes that directly impact training, report writing, quality control, plan development and implementation. Incorporates health standards directed by regulatory agencies to prevent hazards and diseases from work sites.

Under general direction, direct the daily activities of a business, technical support, or functional support team for procurement actions. Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks. Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices. May direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Manages Work Control in the day to day management or Work Control issues. Address any delays or problems associated with project performance, adherence to schedules, or other emergency incidents. Makes recommendations for changes and improvements to existing work methods and procedures. Interfaces closely on a day-to-day basis with all elements of the Project Organization.


A minimum of eight (8) years project management experience, with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant project management experience in military logistical and life support

Equivalent experience includes, but not limited to, experience obtained as a member of the United States Armed Forces in logistical and life support at a level commensurate with the duties of the Site Manager.

Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidance as they apply to this Area of Responsibility

Must be able to obtain “Secret” security clearance.

Possess a valid state driver’s license.


Accredited college degree from a school in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field

Working knowledge of MAXIMO functions in a work control environment

Must be fluent in English

Must possess passport book with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining

Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
