Due to major project wins we have a great opportunity for a Principal Structural Engineer, who has a passion for Infrastructure projects, to join our Melbourne team.

As a Principal Structural Engineer within our structural team, you will test both your leadership
and your technical skills while guiding the team on some challenging infrastructure projects. In particular, we have secured a pipeline of work that involves the design of several bridges and require your expertise in this area to deliver excellent performance on these jobs.
You will join an experienced team of professionals who strive to achieve the high quality project delivery that KBR is renowned for. This is a great opportunity for a highly experienced Structural Engineer to join the team.
Undertake design, feasibility and other assessment, and certification of bridges and other civil structures;
Provide technical input and advice into design development;
Work with clients to ensure we fully understand the outcomes they are expecting;
Prepare reports and technical specifications;
Participate in development of bids and proposals;
Lead and mentor less experienced engineers and graduates.
Tertiary qualifications in civil/structural engineering;
Chartered Engineer status or commitment to achieve it
Experience in structural analysis and design on infrastructure projects;
Experience working on a variety engineering projects
Knowledge and experience with Australian standards relevant to structural engineering and in particular bridge design essential.
