Due to major project wins, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Structural

Engineer based in our Melbourne office. As a senior member of the team, you will

enjoy a challenging role working on a variety of buildings and infrastructure projects . You will join an experienced team of professionals who strive

to achieve the high quality project delivery that KBR is renowned for.


Provide structural engineering design during concept, design development, detailed design and construction phases of buildings structures projects

Prepare sketches, reports and technical specifications and oversee the preparation of contract documentation

Manage the delivery of assigned projects, including liaison with client groups, architects and contractors

Liaise closely with the drafting team to manage the preparation and production of the structural documentation

Mentor junior engineering staff

Participate in development of bids and proposals



years’ experience in structural analysis and design for commercial, defence, health, education and institutional buildings projects within an Australian design office

Design experience in reinforced and post-tensioned concrete and structural steelwork

Ability to liaise with clients, statutory authorities and other consultants in a collaborative team environment

Proficiency with the use of design software, such as Microstran, ETABS, RAM Concept and RAPT

Advanced knowledge and experience with Australian standards relevant to structural engineering

Tertiary qualifications in structural engineering

Chartered Engineers status preferred
