Due to major project wins, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Drafter w ith experience using Revit ® software on major buildings and infrastructure projects, to be

based in our Melbourne office. You will

Responsibilities

Lead the structural documentation on buildings and infrastructure projects

Manage the Structural Revit model and coordinate interfaces with other disciplines

Complete work within negotiated standards of time, cost and quality, maintaining a focus on the structural package contract documents

Demonstrate an understanding of internal and external client needs

Routinely identify and resolve problems relating to the structural package

Work with other staff in the team to co-ordinate related activities

Contribute innovative ideas to the benefit of the drafting team

Display an appropriate balance of practicality and innovation in your work

Train and mentor less experienced staff

Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualifications

Industry related technical experience, including hands-on experience with Revit ® Structures and AutoCAD software

A good team focus and the ability to positively influence team members

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience delivering structural documentation for projects in Revit including drawing management, attention to QA processes and the use of online document management systems

Understanding the 3D modelling process and having the ability to work autonomously

Experience in Revit family and template creation, modelling in place and mentoring of junior staff is an advantage but not required
