Due to an ongoing increase in work, we require a Civil Engineer with solid experience in Roads to join our well established team. Our Civil team consults to a range of local and international clients and are currently experiencing an exciting period of growth; a variety of projects are ramping up and the opportunities for more work just keeps coming! The ideal candidate will have approximately 5-10 years experience across a broad range of road infrastructure projects and experience in drainage and/or pavement design.
perating within a multi-disciplinary team, this role will be responsible for:
Undertaking engineering design and assessment in road engineering;
Planning, scheduling and providing input to civil projects alongside other civil and multi-disciplinary engineers, project managers and designers;
Actively maintaining and enhancing technical reputation and relationships within the industry;
Providing technical guidance to less experienced engineers;
Working both independently and under the instruction of Engineering Leads and Project Managers to complete a wide range of civil engineering projects;
Preparing reports, contract documents and technical specifications where required.
To be considered for this opportunity applicants must hold Qualifications in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with RPEQ status or the ability to achieve this within 12 months. The successful candidate will have 5-10 years experience across a range of road projects and good knowledge of construction and pavement materials. If you also bring experience in drainage and pavement design and an understanding working within a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy you will be highly regarded for this opportunity.
