KBR is continuing to grow our business as we win significant engineering and design projects throughout Australia. We have decided to increase our team in Brisbane and this has created a great opportunity for a highly experienced Structural engineer to join the team.

As a member of our Structural Engineering team you will

test your technical skills and enjoy a challenging role working on a variety of infrastructure projects . We have secured projects that involves the design of several brides.

You will join an experienced team of professionals who strive

to achieve the high quality project delivery that KBR is renowned for.

Responsibilities

Undertake design, feasibility and other assessment, and certification of bridges and other civil structures

Provide technical input and advice into design development

Work with clients to ensure we fully understand the outcomes they are expecting

Prepare reports and technical specifications

Participate in development of bids and proposals

Lead and mentor less experienced engineers and graduates

Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in civil/structural engineering

RPEQ or Chartered Engineer status

Experience in structural analysis and design on infrastructure projects

Experience working on a variety engineering projects within small teams would be highly regarded

Knowledge and experience with Australian standards relevant to structural engineering and in particular bridge design
