The opportunity

We have been busy bringing in the work and winning major projects, and now we need a 12D expert to lead our civil drafting team to success.

Taking 12D projects under your wing and guiding a team of drafters and designers, you will play a pivotal part in their growth and development. Providing your leadership and guidance as well as your 12D expertise, you will ensure the smooth delivery of design amongst the team and continue to develop its capabilities. You will be responsible for leading the team on road and civil engineering projects, coordinating project related activities and contributing to the delivery of effective solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities

This role will see you completing hands-on technical design and production of drawings for a range of projects, specifically using 12D, as well as guiding and mentoring the team to facilitate growth, development, knowledge transfer and learning.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess 10

years experience across the Rail, Road, Water and Resources sectors with experience in the Transport & Main Roads sector being of particular importance. Extensive 12D experience is essential as is previous experience leading a team. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the completion of an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent relevant qualification and familiarity with Australian standards. The ability to travel on short term interstate assignments will be essential for this role.
