Our Government Services division are currently seeking applications from experienced and enthusiastic individuals looking to further their career in the learning and development industry. The Training Coordinator/Administrator role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis and will be located in Sydney.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic Business, Technology and Operations team at a new training facility in Randwick, NSW. This project directly supports the Federal Government as a fundamental input for national capability.

This position has a high degree of autonomy and will require the successful candidate to be a high-performing, self-starter who brings an established training coordinator and administration capability who will provide timely and efficient management, coordination and administration to the team. Working to strict timelines, the successful candidate will need to rapidly integrate into the existing team and start producing high quality products in a short period of time.

Responsibilities

·

Manage the training schedule through engagement with key stakeholders to meet client priorities.

·

Support management of daily operations for all aspects of the training project.

·

Manage and administer the Learning Management System.

·

Administer student enrolments and course completions.

·

Maintain student training records including data entry, electronic filing and archiving.

·

Develop, maintain and review training policies and procedures.

·

Initiate and develop improvements to training administrative systems and processes.

·

Participate in training audits and assessments as required.

·

Coordinate and implement induction processes for new employees.

·

Provide administration support to management through diary coordination, travel arrangement and financial support, including coordination of purchase orders and invoicing.

·

Contribute to quality control process, including engagement with task leads, to support timely delivery of required outcomes.

·

Work collaboratively and efficiently with clients and colleagues.

·

Actively foster a culture of continuous improvement and training excellence.

·

Complete multiple, concurrent tasks and produce high quality outputs within an approved timeline.

·

Apply excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate ideas and critically analyse quality of outputs and processes.

Requirements

·

3-5 years of work experience in a training environment

·

Experience in a training development and / or training schedule management

·

Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS)

·

Demonstrated experience with SAP financial functions

·

Current MS Office suite experience, including MS Project

·

Problem solving

·

High level of organisational skills

·

Excellent time management skills coupled with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

·

Excellent verbal and communications skills

·

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

·

First Aid Certificate

·

Holds / Eligible for Department of Defence Security clearance to Negative Vetting Level 1

Desirable

·

Knowledge of the Defence and broader training environment is preferable

·

TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
