Lead Specialist, Scheduling/Planning

Under general direction, the Lead Specialist, Scheduling/Planning uses specialized knowledge and skills to solve complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices within scheduling and project controls. The incumbent uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices. He/She may direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members. He/She relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of project controls to ensure task completion in compliance with KBR and client policies, procedures, and business strategy.

Responsibilities

Ensures the development and completion of job progress milestones through scheduling

Coordinates with procurement and material mangers as well as engineering work group leads pertaining to essential items of supply

·

Provides priorities for projects to guarantee completion

·

Contributes to forecasts and disbursements by performing schedule analysis

·

Communicates with internal and external clients to facilitate and ensure task completion

·

May mentor and/or train less experienced team members

Qualifications:

Requirements/Qualifications

10

years scheduling/planning experience on EPCM projects

Must be highly proficient in Primavera Scheduling software

Must be highly proficient in scheduling all phases of capital projects

Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Project and Word

Excellent verbal and written communication, organization skills and ability to function within a project team
