The Prepositioning and Marine Corps Logistics Services (P&MCLS) program is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistics services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) and U.S. Navy.

We are seeking a Material Specialist II for our Jacksonville, Florida location.

Position Responsibilities

Performs functions relating to the technical research, requisitioning, managing of requisitions, custodial record keeping, and issue, disposal, redistribution and tracking of equipment, supplies, and publications.

This includes the use of automated systems (both hardware and software) related to accomplishment of the above tasks.

Provides training and guidance to lower level personnel.


Basic Qualifications:

High School Graduate or equivalent.

Five years related experience.

Two years direct working experience with relevant logistics systems.

US Citizen

Additional Qualifications:

Ability to obtain a Favorable Government Public Trust Investigation

Ability to obtain and maintain Military Base Access

Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card

Complete military supply basic course or equivalent.

Ability to operate personal computers, multimedia data entry, and scanning and retrieval systems functions.

Complete the Combat Service Support Chief Courses, or equivalent.

Solid understanding of the organization's logistic functions and the activities in providing logistical support.

Working knowledge of DOT regulations covering the handling, storage, preparation for packaging, packing, and documentation required for transporting hazardous or restricted materials.

Ability to use applicable software applications.
