Perform requirements analysis, validation and verification, ensuring that
Requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable. Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or requirements workshops.
Responsible for preparing detailed functional specification documents with use case and develop UML diagrams as required.
Collect and analyze the project's business requirements and transfer the same knowledge to the development team.
Review and/or prepare system documentation and specifications in accordance with methodology.
Collaborates with internal teams and suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
Assists with requirements prioritization, based on business value. Track requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project. Addresses changes to requirements through effective use of change control processes and tools. Balance technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts.
Requires a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Applications, Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering and 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in a related occupation designing, configuring and supporting applications;
writing use cases and developing use case diagrams;
SQL skills to p
erform data analysis using SQL and other tools as necessary; web-based application delivery and management;
developing wire frames, workflows, use case diagrams, flowcharts, and other analysis-type documentation; developing test scenarios and test cases, and testing activities
necessary to assess the quality and completion of system implementations;
erforming industry research to clarify, define, or satisfy technology or
business process issues;
enforcing change management;
dentifying, documenting, and resolving project issues;
eveloping contingency plans where appropriate;
evaluating and analyzing highly complex business scenarios; and using Microsoft .NET development environment.
In lieu of a Master’s degree and 2 years of experience, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Applications, Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering and 5 years of experience in the skills listed above.
