Position Title:

Senior IT Systems Administrator-Voice

KBR is seeking an experienced Voice Network Engineer to provide direction, support and services for Cisco VoIP, video and data communications which includes: Voice planning, ongoing operations and support, problem resolution, vendor management and license management within the voice environment.



Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 5

years of enterprise level experience. Additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree. The successful candidate will work in a team environment and have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, ability to align technical implementation to business strategy, be able to operate successfully with little to no supervision and provide guidance to less experienced team members. This is a support role requiring participation in the on-call rotation.

Technical Requirements:

Extensive experience with large CISCO Voice Over IP (VoIP) networks in diverse technical and business environments including upgrade of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)

Experience troubleshooting large enterprise VoIP and capacity issues

Familiarity in liaising with third party providers and their associated escalation processes

Installation and troubleshooting Cisco ISDN & SIP Voice gateways

Knowledgeable with

Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX), CAD agents, Finesse and

complex IVR scripting & queue management

Experience integrating analog communications into VoIP Networks (analog phones, faxes, voice & fax gateways)

Planning and implementation of scheduled maintenance work in coordination with key customers

Development and maintenance of technical documentation

Thorough understanding of routing protocols and QoS

Experience with Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) servers and VMWare vSphere ESXi

Experience with PRI and POTS.

Cisco voice certifications are desirable
