Provides business process and system integration within the several business areas; liaises between the business area and the technical teams. Identifies and promotes workable solutions to meet business needs through existing application functionality and drives the decision for new enhancements. Includes a high level review of all business areas and processes impacted, documentation of the "End to End" process changes, including business controls and security, and monitoring of the enhancement/customization throughout the development lifecycle. Liaises with application stakeholders selecting and prioritizing current demand and identifying new process and application improvement opportunities. Conducts feasibility studies, determine project scope, prepare business cases, conduct initial risk assessments and prepare decision packages. Performs requirements analysis to prepare the functional documentation to define and describe the solution to the business problem. Validates that the proposed solution meets the business requirements. Performs functional estimates and facilitates technical estimates including risks and assumptions. Prepares use cases and tests applications against them and facilitates tests to determine if the application meets reasonable performance requirements. Analyzes the benefits of automated testing and implement where valuable. Ensures the use of a change management process for all changes to scope; performs an impact assessment, to obtain formal approval and modify documentation as needed. Applies the KBR change management process for all releases to production. Monitors the production environments and incident reports and takes corrective action as necessary. Assists with design, development and implementation of solutions for continuing access to data from obsolete or redundant applications. Coordinates access to and security of such data. Participates in selection and contracting of consultants who assist with assigned projects, ensuring that deliverables are appropriately defined and measurable.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, or Management Information Systems and 2 years of progressive experience in the job offered or in a related occupation providing systems development and applications support, including requirements gathering, analysis, support and maintenance of applications; supporting C#.NET applications; and working with project controls business processes.

In lieu of a Masters and 2 years of experience, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, or Management Information Systems and 5 years of experience in the skills listed above.
