Analyzes and implements logistics plans that may affect the production, distribution, and inventory or finished products in order to enhance product flow.
Analyzes, participates in development, and implements logistics plans affecting the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products.
Monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates.
Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports.
Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers.
Provides activity and status reports to management.
Coordinates Property Management activities to ensure continual accountability of government/customer owned property as described in Aero Property Plan and prescribed in Federal Acquisition Regulations, Part 45.
Receives, puts into record and issues all Government/Customer/Company Tagged Assets, maintains property records in appropriate database and provides audit trail.
Maintains property accountability records in SAP and PEMS systems.
Arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete property through the PCARSS system for final disposition for prime contracts.
Prepares DD1149 to document US Government-owned scrap property to salvage yard and coordinate completion of required documents and complete system transactions.
Conducts self-assessments, utilizing company developed metrics, and provides data to internal/external customers as required.
Ensures that Government/customer property is managed by contract regardless of which function or organization has custody of the property at the site.
Provides Property Surveys and property listings to customer for annual reports.
Verifies the integrity of SAP and PEMS system records for populated information with all required data elements.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Works under general direction with limited guidance and review required.
Integrates a large range of inputs from immediate lead, project requirements, and job-related theories and concepts.
Some evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required.
Applies wide range of theories, principles, and concepts in field and demonstrates working knowledge of other fields.
Resolves complex problems in area of competency.
Participates as team member on complex tasks and projects.
BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field and 2 years of experience. In lieu of formal education, at least 10 years of progressive experience in a related field. 4 years of specialized military experience in the relative field can be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
Knows and applies fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of specialization. May require assistance in understanding contract requirements, and company policies, procedures and processes.
Understanding of government regulations and corporate policies.
Inventory control and record-keeping skills.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
