Working within the Project Services Group, w

ith minimum supervision and as part of a team :

Provide analytical skills to facilitate the operation of the project.

Successful delivery of system changes to customers.

·

Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems

Acts as a liaison between IT development groups and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of current systems.

·

Evaluates new applications, developments, system requirements and evolving business needs to recommend appropriate solutions and alternatives.

·

Will be expected to take responsibility for the quality of their work through thorough testing and appropriate documentation.

·

Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks.

·

Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices.

·

Direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members.

·

Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of field to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy.

Coordination of system deployments, upgrades and patches.

·

Canvas customer needs for information which assists the team to make informed decisions

·

Establishment of reports and dashboards which effectively flag opportunities and problems

·

Creation of acceptable plans to delivery new functionality

·

Execution of plans to deliver new functionality

·

Develop and execute test plans and agree with stakeholders

·

Verification and agreement with client of savings and/or benefits delivered

·

Ensure all deliverables to the client are peer reviewed and approved prior to issue

·

Assist in the development and maintenance of tools and processes which support the business unit

·

Weekly reporting in agreed format

·

Tracking and on time delivery of proposed initiatives

Essential:

·

Hold, have held or eligible to apply for security clearance

·

A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or similar.

Experience and Skills:

Essential:

·

Experience of the design and implementation of business processes and their translation to system requirements.

·

Candidate must have proven experience in definition of, and coordination of Systems Development and/or Application Support activities.

·

Be able to demonstrate a methodical approach analysis, design and software testing.

·

Possess analytical skills to break down and complete complex tasks

·

Good organisational skills giving the ability to consistently deliver to project schedules and estimates.

·

Excellent written, oral, comprehension and presentational skills to enable effective communication with customers and management as well as providing good documentation.

·

Ability to work independently, keeping management adequately informed.

·

Knowledge of IT systems including a general technical knowledge of hardware, software, databases and database technologies.

·

Team player and role model. Capable of gaining trust and support of team and customer.

Desirable:

Experience of working in a SharePoint solution environment

·

Experience of working in a Maximo or Concept Evolution environment

·

An

understanding of application architectures and database technologies

·

SQL skills

·

Experience of working in a secure environment

·

Broad knowledge of Asset and Work/Facilities Management processes
