Professional Mechanical Engineer with proven experience in engineering designs, from conceptual stage through detailed design for medium to large size projects in the Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbons, and/or Infrastructure Industries. Demonstrated technical and managerial leadership of large teams Pipeline, Piping and Mechanical Engineers and Designers in an engineering office environment. Ability to discuss critical issues with Client, Management, Engineers, and Designers. Thorough knowledge of projects engineering practices, economics principles, international standards, codes, specifications and procedures. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Effective leadership of a large team of piping engineers and designers and with a minimum of 20 years minimum in Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbons, and/or Infrastructure Industries. Excellent communication and presentation skills required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Pipeline,Piping and Mechanical Equipment Department
Resource Planning, recruitment build capacity and the technical skills
Responsible for employee performance appraisals, coaching and career development
Ensure that established and approved work processes, including QA/QC are strictly adhered to.
Responsible for Technical Quality and Design Integrity of all Pipeline, Piping and Mechanical Deliverables.
study, design and material specifications for process and utilities piping, process equipment (static, rotating and package units) specification and miscellaneous.
scoping of projects, including piping and mechanical deliverables
development of work plans for Piping and Mechanical project teams
review and approve deliverables
provide technical leadership and guidance
to the project team
on-schedule delivery of the work within the budget
Serve as technical resource to the engineer and designers in the department
Qualifications & Years of Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 20 years of experience in conceptual designs, FEED and detailed engineering of plants and facilities in the Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbon, Petroleum Refinery, Offshore and/or Infrastructure Industries. Must also have demonstrated technical managerial skills.

Expert knowledge & understanding of design practices, Construction Practices and Procedures.
Expert knowledge of codes and industry standards such ASME, NFPA & API analysis, material selections, process equipment fire water protection and drain system philosophy
Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Standards and Procedures
Must be proficient in English both Oral and Written
