Position

Description

Uses predictive and

preventive maintenance software, applications, and data collection instruments

to identify machines with possible problems. Collects lubrication samples,

performs visual inspections of machinery, calculates forcing frequencies for

vibration analysis, and manages and maintains local predictive maintenance

software databases. Analyzes machine faults to determine root cause of

failures, prepares recommendations for machine repairs from machine condition

and lubrication analysis data, and performs real time machinery vibration

analysis. Selects machines, plans, and builds routes for all types of

predictive and preventive maintenance tests. Requires classroom training in

machine vibration analysis, tribology, and precision maintenance and 2 years of

experience.
